I just found a very nice video at youtube and I wanna share it with you guys. You all know that I am not into debates regarding political or social issues. I am realistic about life and people.
It is pretty obvious to me that there're too many things wrong in the world, but I don't believe in instant/miracle solutions and I don't think human kind is really willing to change things.
Maybe the problem is that there are too many people like me who avoid talking about social issues and changes.
Maybe the problem is that there are too many "lazy revolutionaries": they know things must change, they talk a lot, but they do nothing.
The truth is that things won't change unless we all change.
There is too much talking out there and no real acting.
Beautiful and passionate speechs will lead us nowhere if we don't make them a reality in our lives. It's like that Elvis' song: a little less conversation, a little more action...
Anyways, I don't agree about everything in the video below but I do believe "it is ok because we say so".
I really liked it and I hope you all like it too.
Btw, I am still avoiding debates on political issues.

Hi !
>I am realistic about life and >people.
I think political debates are very realistic.. because they reflect our society's opinions on things which ultimately decides how our society reacts to events.
>I don't think human kind is really >willing to change things.
Absolutely right.. and i think that is the crux of the problem. 1 day we are going to pay and pay dearly.. cause thats how human kind behaves :-/
Creating anything in this world. anything. including peace.. is a 3 stage process. A person thinks, talks and acts.. nothing in anyone's life is created without those 3 steps.
If you observer human generations over the last 30 yrs, back then a lot of people thought (some wrote books) but things werent spoken about. Now because of the internet and TV we all speak about it.. perhaps it will be our next generations that will do something about it (yes... i do have faith!)
>The truth is that things won't >change unless we all change.
True. And we wont change unless we are:
1. Forced to
2. We evolve mentally and spiritually in society
Personally i would prefer option 2.
>Btw, I am still avoiding debates >on political issues.
Dont avoid.. let yourself be heard.. let others think about your opinion and talk about it to other people.. one day someone who may be minutely influenced by your opinion, will take the next step and act.. but if we never talk about it.. we may never act !
Peace and love.

I think we're already paying for that. You know better than me abt the consequences of our acts on the environment and on other people's life.
>>You said: "perhaps it will be our next generations that will do something about it"<<
I just hope it won't be too late...
Anyways, I do believe I won't live enough to see those changes. It will take too long until damage is fixed! At least, I hope it will happen someday...
Do you know what? Maybe this the problem abt our generation (and that includes me!): we are always waiting for someone else to do things... Why can't we do ourselves?!
>>You said: "Dont avoid.. let yourself be heard.. let others think about your opinion and talk about it to other people.. one day someone who may be minutely influenced by your opinion, will take the next step and act.. but if we never talk about it.. we may never act!"<<
So I will become another lazy revolutionary!
I will talk and talk a lot, but then I will do nothing... What a good example to next generations!
It's funny 'cause when I hear someone talking so passionate abt a cause, the first thing I ask him/her is "what are you really doing abt this? If you want me to do something, you need to show me what you are doing.... You need to be an example of what I should do and how I should act".
I am doing nothing and I am not a good example to anyone, so don't you think it is too convenient to just talk and not do anything? "I will talk, but then lets others do what I also have the duty to do!"
Btw, this is exactly what "it is ok because we say so" is abt!
It is ok because we let things be the way they are... We dont act... It's like a tacit acceptance!
And you know what? I don't like talking abt politics, why am I still talking abt it?! Humpf!
Talking and not doing is not the same as not talkin at all.
When you say "its ok" you are accepting taht the situation is okay for society and for me.. when you voice your opinion you are saying "it is not ok for me"
Dont underestimate the power of words (thought in motion) you dont have to be a revolutionary, you can be a lazy one and still help the active one!
I don't underestimate the power of words. I just think they shouldn't be use in order to make people avoid the debate.
Most of the times, the speechs abt politics, social issues and environment are too boring and they just make people avoid them!
We need to use the power of words to make people get interested in these issues, and not to push them away...
I'm sorry for interruption both of you frds but i think everyone is not made to do everything otherwise we'll become replica of God... I'm agree with r4y whatever you can do atleast do that lucy and might be after reading all your bloggers the love of nature inside me could come out n i'll make my mind to do something as a social service man but never underestimate your efforts dear.
Lucy Nothing is like lazy revolutionary in your blogs dear because you are doing what you can do in you busy schedule and you can not give ample of time on these social causes it's not lil thing that you worried abt all these might be one day in your life when you get time you'll give a try and if you enjoy those moments might be you will do it time by time isn't good?? see you can't do everything alone even not me or anybody else do wat you can do don't let your feelings inside let them come out Nothing is impossible Anything can happen dear :)
Lucky
My dear Lucky,
You're not interrupting anything! Ha ha ha ha
You know that everybody is more than welcome to comment my posts and you are in a special splot since you are one of my loyal readers!
I do think I am a little bit of a lazy revolutionary sometimes and I am always concern about speechs... I am afraid people will get bored if I start talking non-stop about changes and what I think is right.
I am afraid that boring speechs will only put people even more far away from social issues...
I will keep doing what I have being doing so far and let's see what happens :-)
